![]() Details of the ancient pavement in cotto tiles dating back 18th century (1700). The original pavement is still in fairly good condition especially considering the ‘age’. Some of the tiles are slightly cracked and it is advisable to use specialists in restoration instead than the complete substitution of the tiles. In fact, these tiles are also like a piece of history. Important to notice that the casale (the property), as all the historic homes, is regulated and protected under special Italian history and heritage regulation (ex law n. 1089) and it is not permitted to restructure radically the property without preserving the historic elements of the house. |
